AN AUTHORS VIEW

We started the meeting on the 13th of October by sharing some pieces of work we had done using the prompt Dancing. It was interesting to see some themes appearing in more than one piece such as dancing classes and dances.

One o’clock bought Elisabeth Clare to join us. She had kindly agreed to come and talk to the group about how her first book The Stealing came in to being as a published book. Also, to share with us some of the highs and lows of writing, publishing, and the world of books. It was a remarkably interesting talk, and we were riveted for the entire talk. I think I speak for all of us when I say we all went home freshly inspired.
